1) See the inf directory if exist OEMx.INF and OEMx.PNF files (reffered to Xtremecard ). Save these files in a safe place
Nope - these dont exist in my inf directory. What now?
2) Uninstall (if installed the card) from device manage.
Did that.
3) Copy DLLs files to the system32 directory
Which dll's ?
4) Copy DRV file to the drivers directory
Which drv file ?
Am I supposed to be trying the 98 or NT Xtreme software ?
Has anyone else got this card to capture video under Win 2K ?
5) Check if OEMx.inf & OEMx.pnf files exist in the inf directory
6) Reboot and when the system recognize again the card load the drivers from the "multimedia , Unkmown, AIMS"
7) If the problem continue try another PCI slot

Same problem with the LifeView FlyVideo II here.
Exact same error message. The drivers on the site say they are for RC3, don't know if this would have much difference though..
