Ultima 9 won't work
This is a discussion about Ultima 9 won't work in the Windows Games category; ok i have ultima 9 that i bought about 3 months ago haven't been able to play it yet but in win2k when i try to start the game it says please insert the correct cdrom i have tryed everything from cack pathces to refromating and reinstalling win2k i have a p3 550 diamond viper II sbLive adaptec 2940uw

I Have a TNT 2 and a PII 450 ... Ultima runs very fine here under Win2k ... no problems.

You are switching out the install CD for the game data cd, yes?
I know it's the most obvious step, but it's best to start there.
If that isn't the problem, do you have more than one CD drive in your system?

ihave a pioneer cd rom drive and a smart and friendly cdr-w drive
...and you've got the correct Cd in the drive?
