UMAX 2100 U scanner..... did ANYONE get it working ?

This is a discussion about UMAX 2100 U scanner..... did ANYONE get it working ? in the Windows Hardware category; I tried everything to get this sucker working wiht Whistler. Even the W2k users got problems with this scanner. . . . Hopefully someone is able to help me. . . . .

I have the same scanner and it works just fine in win2k. I am at work right now but will be home in a few hours. I can upload the drivers that you need then. If you already have the drivers make sure you load the drivers BEFORE you plug in the scanner; this is essential, it will not work otherwise and you will have to delete the software unplug the scanner and start again if you didn't do it that way.
