Unable to read CD-rom when playing AOE2 and C&C2
This is a discussion about Unable to read CD-rom when playing AOE2 and C&C2 in the Windows Games category; This is wierd. AOE2 and C&C2 can run under win2k. I can install both no prob, but when I want to play, they don't detect the game in the CD-rom. I have tried this on two different computers each with different cd-roms running the same build of win2k.

I have tried this on two different computers each with different cd-roms running the same build of win2k. It is win2k pro 2194 compaq oem.
Any ideas?

These are burnt copies, but they work under win9x.
If they work under 95/98 and not under 2k then I don't know what to say. I run AOE2 under 2k with no trouble.
