Unidentified OS on C

This is a discussion about Unidentified OS on C in the Windows Software category; Hello, When I boot my computer I get to choose from Win2k pro or 'unidentified OS on drive C'. Does anyone know if this is normal, or is there still a left over of win98 which I booted from another drive but not anymore.

Hello,

When I boot my computer I get to choose from Win2k pro or 'unidentified OS on drive C'.
Does anyone know if this is normal, or is there still a left over of win98 which I booted from another drive but not anymore.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this and make the comp autostart win2k?

Go to C:\

Unhide all files...

Open boot.ini and remove the line of the other OS. Save it. Go to System Properties>Advanced>Startup & Recovery

Uncheck, Display a List of OS @ startup.
