This is a discussion about Unreal T and a cable modem in the Windows Games category; I had a cable modem installed and on the weekend i felt like a game of UT. . . . . I loaded the game and then updated the server list, found a server that looked easy (i am rubbish at games) but everytime i tried to connect to a server it said Connection failed and that was it any ideas?? Do you have a firewall ?
If so make sure that port 7778 is open.
I'm not 100% on port 7778, I'm at work now so cant check it, take a look in the readme-files...

It should be 7777 -thats the default port.

1.did it do this with ALL servers or just one?
2. did u have the required game update for the server (most servers say what update it will support up 2)
3.could u connect to the internet okay?
4. can u play online with any other games?
