I have a Dell 4100 with win2k. Only administrators can see the USB ports, which is how my printer is connected. Did not have this problem till installed a techgear usb card for additional ports. I have removed the card and uninstalled the techgear installation but still no luck.

I have a Dell 4100 with win2k. Only administrators can see the USB ports, which is how my printer is connected. Did not have this problem till installed a techgear usb card for additional ports. I have removed the card and uninstalled the techgear installation but still no luck. When I try to install another printer the printer wizard does not allow me to select the checkbox for local ports, this is why I think non-admin users cannot see the USB ports. I don't like giving my kids admin rights so they can print. Any suggestions??
