User logon

This is a discussion about User logon in the Windows Hardware category; How can i make the user that want to log on to choose in a drop down menu the user he want to log on. I mean, under Mac OS 9, there a menu with all registered users and you just click on the one you wanna log onto and if you need a pwd, it just asks.

Not easily. NT doesn't give you that info by default for "security reasons".

You can, however, write your own login process to replace the MSGINA.DLL - this is what the "biometric" login schemes do.

"Biometrics" refer to fingerprints, handprints, facial recognition, things of that sort.

You can also integrate card swipes and the like into the NT login process too...
