User Profiles Getting Bigger!??
This is a discussion about User Profiles Getting Bigger!?? in the Windows Software category; 1) Why does my user profile on Win2K keep on increasing? I used to log into Windows as administrator all the time, but I noticed my profile was like 15MB. So, I started using another profile. . . and I notice it's starting to increase as well.

So, I started using another profile... and I notice it's starting to increase as well. I'm not really too sure why it does that! It can't be good though... can anyone suggest what the problem could be? (like how I can stop the profiles from getting insanely large)

temporary internet files go in your user profile..... that's probably causing the increase that you see. You can limit that space in internet options. As far as limiting the overall space of your profile, you'd probably have to use disk quotas or something....
Email will also increase your user profile.
