UT on an nVidia Card a bit choppy?

This is a discussion about UT on an nVidia Card a bit choppy? in the Windows Games category; Hey, I'm wondering what API ppl with nVidia cards play UT with? I run OpenGL and its kinda choppy. I know its not my system because all the other FPS games run fine. It says I should be getting a minimum of 30 fps.

I'm using D3D, I think there's better support for D3D and Glide in UT rather than OGL. But I didn't notice a big frame rate difference between D3D and OGL on my TNT.
