This is a discussion about UT & Voodoo3 at twice normal speed !? in the Windows Games category; Hi there ! I have got a problem which I just can´t solve, UT is running at twice the normal speed !. Hi there !
I have got a problem which I just can´t solve, UT is running at twice the normal speed !. In singleplayer mode this can be solved by setting the gamespeed to 50% but in multiplayer it becomes totally unplayable!. Am I alone with this problem?
(Have not seen any postings about it..)
I have been testing many drivers for the 3dfx card found both here and on www.betaos.com
Would be forever greatful if someone could help me out.. (can it be a reg tweak?)..
WIN2000 final

Thanx..

Have you overclocked your CPU ????
A friend found a way to cheat in UT in multiplayer game : while loading UT, he o/cked is CPU (his mb can make hot CPU clock change), so UT was running believing to be on a 66 MHz instead of 100MHz. So while playing UT, this little bastard was running 50% faster, firing 50% faster and so on.
This can be the solution.
