Via USB

This is a discussion about Via USB in the Windows Hardware category; Received notification that I would get a free copy of 2000 Pro! Yeppeee!!! Anyways I thought I would dust off my ancient dusty copy of RC2 to get ready for the full ver. So anyways I install and see that 2000 being the helpful OS it is installed the VIA UNSUPORRTED DRIVER or whatever it is under the USB tree.

Well all you have to do is click on DRIVER...then UPDATE...and pick SUPPORTED VIA and TADA!!! all of your USB devices should work now. Stupid 2000. Anyways...I hope this little tip helps all of you guys out. Anyone know if this prob still exists in the final ver?

Also I was wondering if anyone could email me the ViaAgp.sys file from their driver.cab from the final ver of 2000? I want to know if they fixed the prob in 2000 where I have to change the AGP Aperture size in 2000 to the same amount of video memory I have in my vid card every time I reboot to 2000. I can't wait till the full ver gets here! Please post on this board if you can zip this file and email it to me, I would really appreciate it.
