Viper 550 and D3D

This is a discussion about Viper 550 and D3D in the Windows Hardware category; I installed Windows 2000 builds 2031, 2072 and 2121. My Viper 550 is recognized correctly, however only with build 2072 direct 3d works. With the last 2121 version it crashes when I want to test it with dxdiag.

Any ideas, except from going back to 2072 ?
