Scenario:

windows 2000 rc2 #2128
Virusscan for NT engine 4.0.3a
Live!Ware 3.0

I get my live!ware installed fine after the just released liveware3.0 installation assitant from Anthony Toste from ntcompatible.cjb.com. I find myself rebooting a few times. Then I find my system is running incredibly slow and CPU is running at 100%. The program hogging it all up is amgr....exe (forgot). It's an essential program utilized by Virusscan. I wind up uninstalling virusscan and all is peaceful in the land....but now...the risk of lack of virus defense software makes my system vulnerable...

Does anyone have any suggestions? (Besides buying another virus scanner.) If anyone has a work around for what I have right now, that'd be great.

OP
I have converted all partitions to ntfs, but I still don't like leaving a leak out there in the open.
