Voodoo 2 in RC2

This is a discussion about Voodoo 2 in RC2 in the Windows Hardware category; I read the 3DFX faq, but then the messages here re 😀3D being disabled for unsigned drivers gave me the impression that the Voodoo 2 may not be usable currently under win2k:rc2 (2128)? Does the altered inf file with the NT4 drivers work fine under 2128? Glide/d3d/ogl? Thanks!!!

That not ture frist you have to have D3D drivers witch NT4 didn't have.
There is no D3D drivers for Voodoo1 nor the Voodoo2.
NT4 never had INF I made this INF from the ground up.
Yes it still works Windows RC2.

OP
What I meant in my message was did the 3dfx nt40 drivers with the inf file that you made work.

Regardless it seems that windows based glide works (the winGlide drv) but no fullscreen glide and no D3D. I guess the NT40 drivers lack D3D support because they only needed to support up to DirectX 3?

Thanks
