You should be able to hack the registry to do this. I don't have access to my machine right now, but if you have Win98 you might want to poke around and see if you can find the refresh settings (one for each supported screen resolution).

Its in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/3DFX INTERACTIVE/VOODOO2/GLIDE
