Voodoo2 with Win2k - Not Detected in Directx
This is a discussion about Voodoo2 with Win2k - Not Detected in Directx in the Windows Hardware category; I have Windows 2000 installed, and I installed the latest beta version of the Windows 2000 driver for the Voodoo2 from 3dfx's page. It says it's installed and everything, but then it isn't listed in directx so I can't use it with Direct3D games.

Does anyone know why this is?
I don't think the driver I got mentioned anything about directx, just opengl and glide. Do I need a separate driver from somewhere for directx. (I have Directx 7.0). Also, the icon in the device manager for the voodoo2 card is a little speaker rather than a video card, and it's listed under "sound, video and game controllers," if that makes any difference.
