Vortex 1 on a VIA chipset???
This is a discussion about Vortex 1 on a VIA chipset??? in the Windows Hardware category; Hey i was wondering if anyone has an Aureal VOrtex1 on a Mobo with a VIA chipset running Win2k. . I have a Vortex 1 and a Tyan Tiger 133, i need to know if the Vortex will work in 2k or do i need to get another sound card.

Ive looked at the site but i cant find anything.. maybe im looking in the wrong spots...

There are beta Windows 2000 drivers for all Aureal Vortex cards.
Since Aureal went bankrupt and Creative Labs bought them, the Aureal Web site is not very well maintained.
I always go to http://www.vortexofsound.com to get the latest Aureal news and drivers.
David is not up[censored] the http://www.vortexofsound.com Web site too often these days, but the message board is active.
