Vortex2 SQ2500
This is a discussion about Vortex2 SQ2500 in the Windows Hardware category; W2K recognized and installed drivers for my Vortex2 with no problem. However, I can't get surround sound now. I have tried both the standard MS drivers and the W2K beta drivers from AUREAL. Both have the same result - no surround sound.

Using the Aureal Beta you will be given a taskbar control panel. Open it up and select "4 Speakers" and it should work fine.
