The computer would just stop responding, mouse freezes, etc. I know w2k is still in development, but does anyone have any suggestions or hints on know conflicts that could be causing these freezes? I have a single P2-300 (Tyan Thunder 2 motherboard (dual, but not using the 2nd CPU slot ).

Thanks!

actually, i think i have fixed it. I was reading someone's else's post (concerning ACPI), and I forced the ACPI_Enable=0 (txtsetup.sif). Reinstalled, and I haven't had a freeze. It's only been 12 hours , but before, it would freeze after about 10-20 minutes of use.

I have the same board but with two Pentium II 350 and ACPI runs fine (W2K RC2).

Have you checked the BIOS setup ?
