W2k & SAMBA

This is a discussion about W2k & SAMBA in the Windows Networking category; I´ve w2k on my computer and i can´t log into my samby server. plaintextpassword is enabled, but the login & pass is not acceped by my linux samba server. WHY? Please help me & sorry for my bad english patty! Greets Zero.

Some changes to the SMB in Windows 2000 -- Packets or authentication, I can't recall.... Anyway, Samba doesn't get along too well with it. There is a new version of Samba out that works correctly with this. I don't know the version number. The article I read about this was in either PC Week or on ZDNET.COM ....
