W2k SBLive lag in sound...

This is a discussion about W2k SBLive lag in sound... in the Windows Hardware category; After finally installing the Liveware 3. 0 to get 4 speaker support on my SBLive, sound lags behind the action. Take UT for example. I´m dead, then I hear the shot. It´s lagging just about 1/4 second, but that timespan decided a little too often about life and death of my alter ego.

After finally installing the Liveware 3.0
to get 4 speaker support on my SBLive, sound

I´m dead, then I hear the shot. It´s lagging just about 1/4 second, but that timespan decided a little too often about life and death of my alter ego. So if anyone knows how to fix the lag and keep the 4-speaker-support
please post the answer here.
(I know I can go back to 2 speaker support, so don´t post *that* )

You don't say if this just happens in UT or in other games too, so try changing the "audio hardware acceleration" setting in UT.
 
You could also run DXDIAG and use the h/w accel slider in the sound tab until things work...
