Wich Videocard?
This is a discussion about Wich Videocard? in the Windows Games category; Just installed RC-2 on an machine with an Matrox G200 and quickly found out that OpenGL and D3D didnt work at all/not very good. Quake 1/2/3(OpenGL) didnt work and Unreal Tournament demo did start but looked awful and runned very slow (should be D3D but i think it was more software) so now i wonder wich videocard i ...

Quake 1/2/3(OpenGL) didnt work and Unreal Tournament demo did start but looked awful and runned very slow (should be D3D but i think it was more software) so now i wonder wich videocard i should go out and buy, an TNT or Voodoo3 or anything else?
It has to be able to run OpenGL (Quakegames) and most (all...) D3D games.
I know this maybe a bit early to ask for but are there ANY card/drivers today that work good enough? (Not Win9x good but OK good)

I'd say go with the voodoo3 cause if a game doesn't work in opengl or d3d it may have a glide option. As well as the fact that the voodoo3 seems to be the card that works best in win2k.
