Win 2K always trying to install PS2 keyboard

This is a discussion about Win 2K always trying to install PS2 keyboard in the Windows Hardware category; i have a USB keyboard (Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro) and a USB mouse (IntelliMouse explorer). both of those work fine, except that win 2K always tries to install a PS2 keyboard on the i8042 port. to get around this i have plugged in the PS2 keyboard and hid it under the desk! any ideas?.
