Win 2k and Fastrak Raid card
This is a discussion about Win 2k and Fastrak Raid card in the Windows Hardware category; Ok I have a Ultra 66 Card Turned into a Fasttrak RAID card, When I Install the card in Win2k and reboot, I get a STOP error saying please check hard drive or hard drive controller. Anyone have any suggestions?.

Do a search of the forum for Promise Fasttrak and you will find your answer. I have previously posted this and do not have the time or want to post it again.

When i first installed this item.
The manual said.
U MUST install the card before attaching HD,s to it.
Worked for me
This is ofcourse only with a current install.
U dont need this procedure under 98
.
