Hi everybody,
I'm evaluating the option of installing Win 2k pro on my PC. I have a Matrox Marvel G200 video capturing card, and till now I used the Avid Cinema software with Win 98. I read that Avid Cinema does not work in Win 2k, so I'm thinking of passing to Adobe Premiere, since I read of new Marvel drivers for Win2k and that Premiere 5.01 works in Win 2k; but does it work even using a Marvel G200? Does anybody of you know?
Then: my PC has a Pentium II 350, RAM 128Mb, HD 6,5 Gb IDE, and my Marvel has 8 Mb...
I know Win 2k needs a lot of RAM, do I need an upgrade to edit videos without problems?
I'd like to leave Win 98 for stability reasons, so i don't want to have bad surprises with Win 2k.
