Your most welcome for the help. Just do a search for where each driver is located and then put the new ones in those folders. Don't forget to delete the bad drivers before you add the new ones. If that fails to work then write back and we can take it from there.

I did the search and was able to find that they are in the system file...no problem. HOwever, I notice that the main file has sub files within. Shall I delete the main file? Will that cause my computer any harm, trying to install another? Do I run an "Update Driver" ... sorry this is new for me.

Hi Stacy, no problem. Just delete the driver itself don't delete the files or folders. You can also give that update driver a try and see if that does the trick. Good luck.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier Stacy. If you do the Update driver it will ask you where to look for the driver and you can point it to look at those 2 files you downloaded earlier.

No need to be sorry for asking questions, it's the only way to learn. In most cases there isn't a huge difference in model numbers.
I was hoping that that would do the trick. I'm running out of ideas over here.
I'm hoping that one of the other guys will read the thread and have an idea or two that will work.
I will keep thinking of something that hopefully work.
Sorry it isn't working so far.

I sure appreciate your help. The two driver downloads I have, both have a self-extracting "set-up". Since the computer won't let me delete the old drivers, can I just run the set ups without hurting anything? I didn't want to do it until I asked first. :-):

You can run those self-extractors without hurting your comp. I'm just hoping that this will do the trick or I will have to get one of the other guys in here to take over. I am beginning to run out of ideas.
