Win Me wont startup
This is a discussion about Win Me wont startup in the Legacy OS category; I am having a problem with the FINAL version of Windows Me. Not retail, Final. I boot up, it loads the explorer, and it loads the status bar, and stops. I am using Windows 2000 now, and i want a way to fix it.

My computer manufactuer wont help, and microsoft said "We dont support non-public builds."
Help!

Do you by any chance have a palm handheld device? If so, it is a known bug that some of the cradles will cause winme to hang. If so, 3Com is handing out adapters that fix the problem.
