Win2000

This is a discussion about Win2000 in the Slack Space category; I can boot and install win2000 from IDE CD-Rom but why I can not boot it form SCSI CD-Rom and install? It shows Can't open from CD-ROM. Code4 But I boot Win98 bootable CD from this SCSI CD-Rom. My SCSI Card:AHA-2940 SCSI CD-Rom :TEAC CD-532S.

Make sure that your motherboard supports SCSI boot and that if it does, it supports your card. You may also try setting the SCSI ID of the CD-ROM drive to other variables. If you also have a non-SCSI CD/DVD-Drive this might be causing some confusion at the motherboard.
