Win2k and WD205AA+S1598s
This is a discussion about Win2k and WD205AA+S1598s in the Windows Hardware category; I have a Tyan S1598s Mother board with ATA/66 onboard. I am thinking of trying to set up Win2k on my 20 gig WD205aa HDD. I would like to know if anyone has set up win2k on this setup? I tried it with my old motherboard and it would not go.

I tried it with my old motherboard and it would not go. Win2k would stop loading and give the error HDD was corrupt and could not be fixed.
I am currently running Win98 on the same Drive with the new board.
