Win2k crashes with new 5.13 drivers?!

This is a discussion about Win2k crashes with new 5.13 drivers?! in the Windows Hardware category; Am I the only one who is having this experience. . After about 15 to 20 minutes my system crashes, not to BSOD but to som strange resolution mode where i can't do nothing!! By strange resolution i mean, my mouse pointer is half the screen in height and really thin.

Am I the only one who is having this experience..

My system is:
ABIT BE6 mobo with Celeron 366@550Mhz
256MB PC100 memory
Asus AGP-V6600 Delux GeForce Gfx card
Seagate 17,2 GB utata/66 HD

Sounds like your monitor's knackered.
 
Try changing the monitor timing settings in the other options box in the the nvidia control panel. As older (high end) monitors like mine behave better with DMT, rather than GTF

I have tried booth sets of monitor timings, but it still crashes...
 
However when i use my tv-out: NO problems!!
 
It's really anoying... any clues anyone??
 
I have a cheeap Belinea monitor, but it's plug and play compatible... and have alwayes worked fine before...

With the 5.13 drivers, every time I run hauppauge wintv on Windows 2000, the computer systematically reboots! I have reverted back to my old 3... version.
