Win2k, DUN, and a few programs
This is a discussion about Win2k, DUN, and a few programs in the Windows Software category; Hello, DUN has been working fairly well in Win2k for me. Outlook Express, IE 5. 01, and a few other net programs launch a connection just fine. But, Microsoft Messenger, Everquest (online game), and WS FTP Pro will not launch a dialup connection.

DUN has been working fairly well in Win2k for me. Outlook Express, IE 5.01, and a few other net programs launch a connection just fine. But, Microsoft Messenger, Everquest (online game), and WS FTP Pro will not launch a dialup connection. I've checked the Internet control panel and it's set to always dial my default ISP connection. Any other ideas?

This is EXACTLY the same problem I'm having (see my Netscape 4.7 question a few posts down).....anyone have any ideas?
