WIN2K, FF8, G200 and DX8

This is a discussion about WIN2K, FF8, G200 and DX8 in the Windows Games category; Okay people! here's a puzzle: I have win2k FF8 works perfectly, excepted that I cannot set the textures to 8 bit! setup says 8 bit palleted textures fail I got a Matrox Millenium G200 and it was working fine in Windows98 Any clue ?

Okay people! here's a puzzle:
I have win2k

I got a Matrox Millenium G200
and it was working fine in Windows98

Any clue ?
