This is a discussion about Win2k reboots when I exit from UT....anyone in the Windows Hardware category; Does anyone have any Idea why UT reboots my computer when I exit the game? I have Win2k 2160 Abit Mb rev 2. 0 SBLive celeron 366@550 Stable Asus TNT2Ultra realtek NIC.

No idea, win2k has done that to me a few times in odd places. Burning a rewriteable cd, before DX7 It would happen if I won or finished a race of MCM. Wierd stuff. Today had my PC lock up twice for no reason once in 2151 and once in 2167. Wacky stuff I tell ya.
When I have POWERSTRIP running I get the same symptom.
I try to remember to exit PS before I run games.

Well I changed the resoulution from 800x600 any other one and it does not do it anymore. The strange thing is, is when I was running windows 98se and 2k beta 3 I had no problem. I also just recently got 2160 and deleted the winnt directory and installed 2160 and had no problems. I then decidec that because all my hardware was supported by 2160 that I didn't need 98se so I only have it running and now UT reboots on exit in 800x600...weird..
