Win2k slow startup!!!
This is a discussion about Win2k slow startup!!! in the Windows Hardware category; I don't get it i have rc1 and when win2k startup its goes really slow its just trashing the harddisk and when it is at 75% it sometimes goes on and sometimes crashes what is this, please help p2-450 asus p2b bios 1009 viper tnt agp 16 mb 3com III etherlink quantum cr 8.

Get RC2 It starts a lot faster. Try reformating ya drive and doing clean install. It could be do to huge drive fragmintation.
