Win2k + TNT1 + D3D Problems

This is a discussion about Win2k + TNT1 + D3D Problems in the Windows Hardware category; I have the newest release of Win2k and am having problems running D3D. I downloaded the 3. 65 drivers and running them now. I fired up UT and it runs fine but any other game that I've tried so far to run in D3D won't work (Speed Demons, Rogue Squadron, Supreme Snowboarding, etc.

I have the newest release of Win2k and am having problems running D3D. I downloaded the 3.65 drivers and running them now. I fired up UT and it runs fine but any other game that I've tried so far to run in D3D won't work (Speed Demons, Rogue Squadron, Supreme Snowboarding, etc.) . It freezes the screen black and nothing will respond. I fired up DXDIAG and ran the D3D test and it freezes the system up solid as well. It also says i have no AGP support (it's an AGP card). I'm pretty stumped at this point. My system is a dual celeron with a Diamond TNT. There is no overclocking at all (at the moment anyways ). Maybe these games just don't work or maybe UT is running software or OGL (does it support this?), and I just don't realize it. It still doesn't explain why DXDIAG craps out on me.

If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
