Win2K / Win98 dual boot

This is a discussion about Win2K / Win98 dual boot in the Windows Software category; I have two 18GB SCSI drives. Drive 0 has two partitions: c:\ which is 2GB and currently has NT4 on it and d:\ (16GB) which has W2K Pro on it. I now want to get rid of NT4 on C:\ and install Win98SE there instead so I can still play the odd game (I find W2K games support is still pretty bad).

How do I do this? The C:\ drive is formatted with FAT so can I just bung the Win98 CD and install to the C:\ drive over the top of NT4?

If I do this what will happen to my dual boot menu? I still want W2K to be the default but the menu would need to lose NT4 and gain Win98. (Maybe I have to edit boot.ini myself?)

I don't wanna just dive in and do it in case I screw it all up!! Anybody got any help for me on this one?

format ur fisrt drive, making sure u have a startup disk ith cd-rom drivers, boot with ur win98 cd and install in the first drive. now, after installing 98 u will lose ur boot menu, so using ur windows2000 set up floppies, u pretend to install windows2000 but instead when i t comes it to the option to reapair u choose 'repair' and now u have ur boot menu again.
