Win2k with Virtual (IrDA) Com Port ???

This is a discussion about Win2k with Virtual (IrDA) Com Port ??? in the Windows Hardware category; Hi, is there a way to get Win2k to have the IrDA port mapped to a virtual com port like in Win98 ?? I want to use an application which only supports COM ports but I need to connect to a device (mobile phone) over a IrDA connection.

Hi,

is there a way to get Win2k to have the IrDA port mapped to a virtual com port like in Win98 ??

I want to use an application which only supports COM ports but I need to connect to a device (mobile phone) over a IrDA connection.
