Win98 and win2k... but

This is a discussion about Win98 and win2k... but in the Windows Software category; Is there problem if i install win98 after win2k on the same partition than win2k ? (in FAT32 of course. . . ).

While there are a lot of people that will scream bloody murder at the mention of two OS's on the same partition, it will actually usually work just fine. I currently am running 2k and 98 on the same partition. After you have finished the 98 setup, you will need to repair the nt boot loader though. You can search the archives for one of the many ways to do this....

I'm no longer dual booting my PIII PC, but my 486 is running Win95 and WinNT4 Server on the same 325 mb partition
 
No problems, except the computer is slow and sucks. and has no sound, modem, or ethernet.
