Windows 2000 desktop themes
This is a discussion about Windows 2000 desktop themes in the Customization Tweaking category; Heya! I'm fairly new to Windows 2000, I have a nice BeOS desktop theme but I can't seem to install it! Also, I don't know how to set 'blank screen' as my screensaver, since it's not selectable in the menu.
Heya!
I'm fairly new to Windows 2000, I have a nice BeOS desktop theme but I can't seem to install it!
Also, I don't know how to set 'blank screen' as my screensaver, since it's not selectable in the menu .. I could do both things in Win98, but I feel like a total newbie here
Help!?

I don't know how beos themes work, but you can get to win2k themes by going to start->run and type "themes.exe".
the blank screen is called "default screen saver" in win2k.

Yup, the hardest thing is admitting that you're a newbie. I had alot of the same problems you have right now back when i started using win2k about 14 months ago.
I never really used themes, check out WindowBlinds, its a small app that has some shell enhancements that'll blow your mind. I don't use it anymore but it's a keeper.
