Windows 2000 SBLive &shutdown

This is a discussion about Windows 2000 SBLive &shutdown in the Windows Hardware category; I have an HP Pavilion 8380 , I have tried all the posted fixes for SBLive with no luck at all. Anyone have any sure fixes ? Also , in Win98 when I clicked on shutdown, my comp would completely shut off by itself.

I have an HP Pavilion 8380 , I have tried all the posted "fixes" for SBLive with no luck at all. Anyone have any sure fixes ? Also , in Win98 when I clicked on shutdown, my comp would completely shut off by itself. In Win2000, I have to shut it off when it gets to the "safe to shut off" window. Any fixes for this ?
