Windows 2000 Server rocks!!
This is a discussion about Windows 2000 Server rocks!! in the Windows Hardware category; I received our copy of W2K Server at work today and let me tell you this OS rocks. I have Linux running my companies web and ftp servers but after installing and testing W2K server I must say that MS has done a great job.
I received our copy of W2K Server at work today and let me tell you this OS rocks. I have Linux running my companies web and ftp servers but after installing and testing W2K server I must say that MS has done a great job. I'll be switching over as soon as more testing is done. The setting up of a web server and ftp among a lot of other things are just so much better than Linux.

heh similar situation here ran our companies web/ftp servers on linux .. switched to win2k server when rc3 came out for FTP in process of switching the webserver over to win2k now. Hopefully it will remain as stable in a "production" enviroment as it has been in testing!

I'll have to agree with you there Ronin, i used Win2k Adv Svr at work and its great, its weel though out and i'll have to give MS a hand for it, That goes for any Win2000 OS.
