Ok this is my situation, any help would be greatly appreciated. In our house we have 4 computers hooked up with a Netgear hub. The cards used are of 4 different manufacturers(Intel, 3Com, Netgear, and Linksys). Two of the computers are using Win98, my roomate is using WinME and I'm using Win2k. Networking is fine for file sharing but when it comes time for games, this is where the problems are.

When playing Half Life, a person with Win98 has to host the game. If I host it, the other people with 98 can join but as soon as my roomate with WinME joins, it crashes. Whenever my roomate hosts, it refuses to connect to the game. We are all using version 1.1.0.1. I know that this has to be a networking problem and networking is the one thing I know little about.
