Windows Whistler 2428 login error
This is a discussion about Windows Whistler 2428 login error in the Windows Hardware category; Can anyone help. When i type my password to log in to whistler build 2428, i get an error as follows: Windows product activation something like a file cannot be loaded. Please run setup again. I did this twice but the error still occurs.
Can anyone help. When i type my password to log in to whistler build 2428, i get an error as follows:

something like a file cannot be loaded. Please run setup again. I did this twice but the error still occurs. The error states a .dll file of some sort
This happens with both administrator and guest login.
What can i do, ive tried upgrades and clean installs and they both went fine. Thanks in advance

boot in safe mode, run regedit, and find this entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Activation Required
Change it from 1 to 0
