This is a discussion about Working Games in win2k (system shock 2, Bravehart, ja2, shog in the Windows Games category; OK System Shock 2 works! *note: it will not yet u install. the install will look for dx6. 1, but once install it works. Shogo plays fine. Ja2: works and installs fine. Working in NT 4. 0 (sp4+) works Bravehart: don't know about the install cause it was done in win98.

dual p3 500, 512ram, CL TNT2 ultra (win2k drivers), scsi3, raid 0, win2k rc1)
when i play more.. i'll update..
ask if ya want game tested. i have TONS!

However, I use W2K as well and cannot avoid the setup message stating I need DirectX 6.1.
What did you do to install and play it?

you may try
"Setup -lgntforce"
That should do for the install,
but as for the game i can't manage to make it run.

I've had no luck actually doing the install with "-Igntforce". My install still comes back and says it doesn't support NT. There is a problem witht he CD Check software they use and a patch is suppose to be coming out to fix that. I didn't see a date when though.
i didn't tried it myself.
instead what i did (for the demo) was install under 98 then play under 2k.
