WW II fighters

This is a discussion about WW II fighters in the Windows Games category; I've installed this game, and the 1. 08 patch. When I run it, the mouse pointer changes to the clock for about 2 seconds, then changes back to a pointer. Nothing happens. Anyone figure out what's preventing WW II fighters to run? I noticed that some people had the same symptoms, and others it ran fine? thanks! cw.
