Xitel Storm Platinum
This is a discussion about Xitel Storm Platinum in the Windows Hardware category; This seems to install fine under win2k with generic aureal drivers but the volume is way to low (ie I cant hear it). THis is in eerything from the windows wav player to 99% of games Curiously enough I played the game urban chaos and the sound worked under that Anyone got one working properly??? regards.

I got mine working properly. Try plugging the speakers into the speaker out instead of line out, if you haven't already. The optical out still is too low and makes it hard to record minidiscs. Hope that helps.

Thanks, yes that fixed it and a long running problem with cd audio not coming out.
