Program Focus messed up...

Ok, does anyone know why when I run a new program that it doesn't get the focus and becomes the app on top? I do have the latest TweakUI installed and have tried to change the Application Focus setting but it does nothing.

Win2k Server on top of Win2k Pro??

Is it Possible to install Windows 2000 Server on TOP of Windows 2000 Professional? WITHOUT losing data. . . . I want to know if it is possible to pop in the CD and install. (or boot from the 4 floppies and install) Please no smart alec answers.

When I install some programs the shortcut that creates in the start menu will be created in the all users start menu folder, how di I change this so they will be created in a specific user or the current users folder?

I have just reinstaled win 2000, and converted from FAT 32 to NTFS. But because i have two partitions, now i have my system like this: c:NTFS d:FAT 32 How can i convert d: into NTFS? HELP ME OUT,GUYS.

Power Options

Hi Guys, I have keyboard with Power, Sleep and Wake buttons. In Power option, only two buttons are listed. One is Sleep and Other is power, though there seems to be space for three of em'. I have set Sleep to Standby, Power to Hibernate.

Just bought a Radeon, but found out its performance (at least in Q3a) sucks compared to Geforce 2 GTS. . . Anyone has any tips for optimizing Radeon in games (the dvd/2d performance is VERY nice, and that's why I bought it).

Hi All, I was wondering if any of you can tell which among the Audit Policies should be turned on to see Logoff events in the Security Log. I turned on the 'Audit Logon Events' and I can see the time that a user logs on.

Hi, I am having big problems with Win2k. I can only use explorer. . I open OE. . and click on new message it says Insufficient memory Even MSN Messenger doesn't work. . I have 128 MB ram. . . quite a lot of free.

File Manager and Win2k

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use the old file manager in Windows 2000? Failing that, are there any good alternatives? I want to be able to rename multiple files and i don't think it can be done with windows explorer.
