Error with WinMgmt

Hi. . . I alway's see this error in my application log. : WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool. drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0 Someone know how to fix it ? Thx in advance.

I know there is a registry edit that you can make any window or program transparent when inactive. There is also a program that does this neat little feature for you. . only in Win2000 does this work.

How to place the pagefile at the beginning of the drive c: ?

Hi ! In win 98 , i was using norton utilities for that. But i'm new in 2k , and how i can put my pagefile at the beginning of my drive c: like in win98 ? I have a 384/384 pagefile , but well , it seem's stock right in the middle of my c: drive , and i'm sure it slow me a little.

i need your help windows is rebooting mostly when iam online and ie 5 is running first i thought it was winamp and ie 5 but also it could be the graphiccard the geforce 2 mx. some of the geforce driver from nvidia are not working because there are some files missing by the installation.

I tried to use Task Scheduler to setup a scheduled task. Under Control Panel=>services I can only find a service schedule not like other guy's Task Scheduler. However, I still started it and change it to automatic.

Can't make a new user profile

I make the user, it shows up in the control panel,. . . , but none of the DIRs needed are made! What do i do? BTW the Defult user DIR exists is there anyway to manually make a profile like u could in win95? I have win2k with sp1.

Disguise Win NT as Win 95 ???

In the FAQ Section of this great Win NT site there was a section in the FAQ section for NT4 about making applications think Win NT is Win 95. That is great it is something i need. Though i kinda got lost in those instructions.

Black ICE show's LAND ATTACK from (0.0.0.0)

I use Black Ice as my personal Fire Wall and love it to death. . . . But in 2k Server, Everytime I log on to the internet, or disconnect I receive a LAND ATTACK from (0. 0. 0. 0) is there a fix? I have SP1 and have all the updates from microsoft.

Upgrading CPU/Memory - How will this affect Win2K Pro?

Hello all: This is just a simple issue which I'd like some advice about. Basically, the system I'm using is, in short, an Athlon 600 (Slot 1) with 128MB SDRAM. I'm thinking of doing a bargain basement upgrade to an Athlon 700 or 800 with 256 or 384MB SDRAM.

I have 512 kb of lvl 2 cache enabled in the bios of my mobo (Asus P2B-F) and i have it disabled in windows 2k. I have 256 megs of ram, and i was wondering if it was worth enabling L2 cache in windows.

Is there a way I can enable dual cpus in Windows 2000, without having to reinstall it? I'm pretty sure I saw this somewhere, that it was possible, but I cant for the life of me remember where. Thanks in advance if anyone knows how, I really appreciate it.
