Changing IRQ's In 2k

Anyone know how to do this i tried under device manager and it wouldn't let me. The reason i need to change them is i found out i have 4 devices using irq 9 and thats whats causing my system to freeze up or at least thats what creative labs says.

Don't know about you guys/gals, but one thing I missed under Windows 2000 was the Command Prompt Here Power toy. Well, I spent this afternoon fiddling with the inf from the Windows 98 Powertoys collection and came up with the following - It fully supports installation and uninstall via the Add/Remove Programs applet.

DUN errors

when ever i connect to the internet in Win2k i get an error in the DUN status window, under the Received section. I get it immediately after i have dialed in, and my pass/username is verified. I have to wait about a minute before i can receive any data after this.

win2k annoyances

Will somebody please help me? Win2k is driving me nuts. Eventually I find there is a tweakui for win2k and eventually I find a site that actually has a live link to it. Only thing is, it expires as far as I know.

Dual O/S

I currently only have one hard drive running W2K. Can I add WIn95 for a dual boot computer without refomatting everything? ANy help is appreciated. One can not be betrayed if one does not have any people.

Changing drive letters in 2k

I don't know if i'm going stupid or tired (been up all night) but i can't seem to rename drive letters in 2k, i want to change my partition (g to (d and vise versa. . . N e ideas? Thanks in advance. .

My isp, like many suggests using their proxy in my dial up connection. Whats the point though, does anyone know exactly how they work? The pro's and cons of using a proxy connection? Which is faster?.

G400 Asus P2B and AGP lock ups in OpenGL

I have been having a hell of a time getting Win2k (2195) to run Quake III. In win98 it turned out to be a matter of using a reggy hack and forcing AGP1x. Now I used the pre-made reg files off of MURC ( ) but they don't have any prepared for Win2k.

Adding new O/S

I currently have win2k and ntfs installed on my drive C. I recently purchased a second hard drive to run as D and wish to install win98se on this new drive. When I boot from the win98 boot disk and the system only sees the new drive as drive C, then I run setup on the win98 cd.

Win 98 on top of NT

HI i'm currently running NT 4. 0 my system end would like to install win 98 on the same hard drive. I have been told by some that you cannot install 98 after NT, WIN 98 should have been installed first.
